offer students a broad introductory overview of the history and doctrine of the
church.
To
show students how particular Christian theologies exist within their
historical, social and cultural contexts.
To
introduce students to theological sources from different periods of Christian
history.
To
excite a passion for historical and doctrinal thinking and equip students for
further study at Level 5.
To
encourage students to begin to integrate critical thinking about doctrine and
history into their own spiritual formation and ministerial development.
